Internships

Developing and inspiring students’ knowledge of agriculture and business is a passion of AgStar’s. That’s why we have a variety of internship opportunities available for current college students every year.  We offer experiences and hands-on learning opportunities that allow students to take information learned in the classroom and apply it to the business world.

The high quality internship experiences AgStar provides for students has led to additional opportunities within the organization, as well as a great basis to start a career after college. Client Solutions Associate Program                    

AgStar also offers a 24 month training program designed to assist new college graduates in developing knowledge and skills of AgStar’s products, processes and client relationship model to prepare them for a career at AgStar. Those enrolled in the program work with a mentor who assists them through the training and development program and is an advocate for them within the organization. This full-time employment opportunity is designed to prepare new college graduates for a career in a wide range of business units at AgStar.

Corporate Giving

AgStar believes in giving back to those who live and work in the communities we serve. Through our corporate giving program, the AgStar Fund for Rural America, AgStar has donated more than $3 million to organizations, communities and individuals that share our same goals and passions about rural America.

Our AgStar Scholars Program is included in the AgStar Fund for Rural America.  The Scholars Program awards selected students attending the University of Wisconsin, River Falls and University of Minnesota, St. Paul with a $2,000 scholarship for their academic achievements, leadership characteristics and ag-related community involvement. To be eligible, students must possess a GPA of a 3.0 or better, be a junior or third year college student and pursuing a bachelor’s degree in an agriculture or business related field. Applications must be submitted by mid-January to be considered for this opportunity. Please visit the AgStar Scholars Program page for more information.
