How do I sign up?

Call us at 800-705-6603 Monday - Friday from 7:30 am - 5:00 pm or simply fill out the Enrollment Request Form and we will contact you within 2-4 business hours of receipt.

What is the enrollment process?

  1. Sign and submit the electronic signature document received from AgStar.
  2. AgStar will send you an email once activation is completed. Use this to activate your service.
    1. Mobile users will receive a 16-digit registration code via email. Enter the code, your user ID, which you received in your first email, and define a PIN.
    2. All-in-one printer/scanner and dedicated check scanner users will receive temporary passwords and a link to the AgStar Remote Deposit website. Update software and download the scanner driver.

How do I activate the remote deposit service?

Desktop: After enrollment, AgStar will contact you for activation of your desktop service.
Mobile: View activation instructions.

How are funds managed after deposit to my account?

Revolving Lines of Credit/Operating Loans
Deposit will be applied as a payment for any billed amount first (interest first, principal second). Any deposit amount above the billed amount will be applied toward accrued interest and then to the principal. Any remaining or excess funds will be placed into Farm Cash Management or may be returned to you or held for specific handling instructions.

Term Loans
Deposit will be applied as a payment to the billed amount first (interest first, principal second). Excess funds will be placed into Funds Held.

Farm Cash Management (FCM)
Deposit will accrue in your FCM account.

Can I deposit to more than one account?

Yes, we can help you deposit into multiple accounts for each entity (CIF) as payments on term, revolving or operating loans. You can also deposit directly into a Farm Cash Management account. 

How can I manage funds after a deposit?

Deposits made before 4:00 pm each day will be deposited that same day. Internet Banking will allow you to move the money the day after the deposit is made. You can even use Mobile Banking to move money from your wireless device. Or you can call us at 800-705-6603 Monday - Friday from 7:30 am - 5:00 pm.
