Help With Soft Token PINs
The phrase ‘Soft Token PIN’ is a new term that current Online Banking clients of AgStar aren’t used too. However, it is a vital part of the advanced security needed in today’s online environment.
Soft Token PINs are an extra measure of security and are computer specific.
If you use a different computer to log in to Online Banking, you’ll need to reactivate your Soft Token PIN (Please see below for instructions on how to reactivate your Soft Token PIN).
If you have Re-enrolled, but have not logged in for the first time, here is what to do:
First Time Login
- Open the following link to access the online banking system: http://www.AgStar.com/onlinebanking
- Type in your Username and Password.

Click the Login button.

Complete the information on the Token Registration page.
An activation key will be emailed to the address you enter on this page.

Complete the information on the Token Activation page.
Activation key will be emailed to the address you entered in Step 4.
- Enter and re-enter a Soft Token PIN. Must be 6-8 digits, and no digits must be used more than 2 times.
- Answer the security questions. These will be used if you forget your Soft Token PIN or need to reactivate.
- If you’re using a public computer (library, Internet café, etc.), check the box to indicate that this is a one-time login.
- The Online Banking Home Page is displayed.
Reactivating Soft Token PIN
To reactivate your Soft Token PIN, follow these steps:
- Login as usual with your User Name and Password.
- On the Token Login page, click the “Forgot Pin/ReActivate” button.
- Enter a new Soft Token PIN.
- Re-enter the Soft Token PIN to verify.
- Answer one of the security questions you set up at first login.
- If you’re using a public computer (library, internet café, etc.),check the box to indicate this is a one-time login.
- Click OK.
Don’t Forget!
Soft token PINs are computer-specific. If you use a different or public computer, you will need to re-activate your PIN.
