AgStar Fund Awards Grant to Mora HRA

Mankato, Minn. (July 13, 2009) – The AgStar Fund for Rural America, a  corporate giving program for AgStar Financial Services is proud to announce it recently awarded a $5,000 grant from their Rural Feasibility Study Grant Program to the Mora HRA. The grant will fund the Phase II Feasibility Study for Mora Eastwood Senior Living project.  Phase II of the study will include updates on market and financial feasibility and a development feasibility analysis.

“AgStar knows how important affordable senior housing and assisted living units are for rural communities,” states Jody Bloemke, fund administrator for AgStar.  “Communities, like Mora, are looking for opportunities to add new jobs and to keep their residents in the area.   That is why we created this program, to help organizations study economic development opportunities for their rural communities.”
