The AgStar Fund for Rural America is Accepting Grant Applications
To support local organizations that benefit agriculture and rural communities
MANKATO, Minn. (October 14, 2009) – The AgStar Fund for Rural America, the corporate-giving program for AgStar Financial Services, is accepting grant applications to support local organizations that benefit agriculture and rural residents. Organizations could receive up to $10,000 of funding in one of the Fund’s four focus areas: Education, Environment, Technology, or Quality of Life. AgStar is committed to giving back to communities the company serves.
“AgStar has been able to award $2.4 million to organizations serving our area,” stated Jody Bloemke, fund administrator. The mission of the AgStar Fund is to enhance the quality of life and future opportunities for rural residents and their communities. “We encourage and support organizations working to benefit agriculture, farmers and rural communities.”
