MANKATO, Minn. (February 15, 2011) – Continuing to recognize the important role women play within their family farm operations and the ag industry, AgStar Financial Services is pleased to present its annual series of educational seminars for women. With six seminars located throughout AgStar’s service area, female farm clients have many opportunities to learn tips to manage a work-life balance.
The seminars, “You Can Do It: The Power of You” promise a day of high energy, useful content and plenty of laughs with presenters Jolene Brown and Rita Emmett. Brown’s presentation, “The Balancing Act: 10 Ideas to Improve Your Quality of Living as You Increase Your Power and Control,” provides women with 10 realistic and applicable ideas to bring a breath of fresh air, renewal and balance to their work and family life.
Emmett’s presentation, “Blast Away Procrastination. Get it Done Now,” tackles the topic of procrastination and the obstacles to conquering it, the reasons why people procrastinate and how to break the habit.
Each day the seminars begin with registration from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. and conclude at 3 p.m. Listed below are the dates and locations.

March 12 – Best Western Hotel and Conference Center, North Mankato, Minn.
March 14 – Kelly Inn, St. Cloud, Minn.

March 16 – International Event Center, Rochester, Minn.
