AgStar Board of Directors

As a value-added cooperative, AgStar is directed and controlled by a 14-member board of directors. Our client-shareholders elect 12 directors. The elected board appoints the 2 outside directors. 

The purpose of the AgStar Board is to provide high-level direction to ensure growth and success of the association. They set policies to guide management in daily operations and serve as a trustee for the investments of shareholders. Each year the Board members attend 16 to 18 meetings and other events, totaling an annual time commitment of approximately 45 days.
