2011 GroundBreakers Conference
AgStar’s 3rd annual GroundBreakers Conference was held February 11th and 12th at the Minneapolis Marriott Southwest. This educational event for young, beginning and small farmers gave 275 attendees the opportunity to hear the latest on industry news and trends, learn about succession and transition planning and participate in discussion topics directly relating to their operation.
“Enjoyed the time! Dr Boehlje was an excellent speaker,” one participant said. Speakers included Dr. Michael Boehlje, Distinguished Professor of Agricultural Economics at Purdue University, Randy Cook, FSA Director of District 1 in Barron County, WI, Cathy Olson and Al Bennett, business consultants from Lookout Ridge Consulting and Tim Gard from Tim Gard International.
